Meno a Kwena is ideally located in full view of exciting wildlife activity at the river, in front of camp. Southern Africa’s largest zebra and wildebeest migration concentrates at the river during the dry season (May to November). The large dry season concentrations occur along the Boteti River, and then migrate to the saltpans, their wet season breeding grounds (December to April).
Located on the western boundary of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park (MPNP), situated on tribal land overlooking the exceptionally scenic Boteti River, now flowing since 2008. Easy access from Maun, just an hour and 40 minute drive.
There are direct flights to Maun from Cape Town and Johannesburg. Fly to Maun and transfer by road to Meno a Kwena – we depart the airport for camp at 14H00 and depart camp for the airport at 10H00. An hour and 40 minute road transfer on a good tarred road – the last 5 kilometres on a gravel road. Self drive options are also available.
